Melasti Beach nature

If we talk about the most iconic beaches in Bali, I would name Melasti beach. Melasti beach is a popular beach in bali. This beach is also close to several beaches such as Pandawa beach and Green bowl beach.

Besides having a large area, there are many facilities that you can use to just enjoy the beach such as wooden seating close to the beach, and many shady places that are suitable for enjoying the beach. If you're there, don't forget to take a photo at the balinese style gate.

I'm not sure about surfing, because when I came here I didn't see any surfers here. If you know, please give us an update about it.

There are not so many shops here, only a few. So if you come, don't forget to bring your food and drinks. But remember not to litter, melasti beach is a clean area so we have to keep it clean.

Melasti Beach Location

Melasti beach is located in Ungasan village, South Kuta, Bali. To go to Melasti beach from Ngurah Rai Airport it takes around 37 minutes, around 55 minutes from Denpasar center and around 16 minutes from Uluwatu. But everything depends on traffic road updates.

Things you can do at Melasti Beach

There are a lot of things you can do at melasti beach :)

Swimming and snorkeling at Melasti

Melasti Beach has crystal clear water and soft white sand, which is perfect for swimming. Not only swimming, you can also snorkel in this clear water. When we were there, we didn't try snorkeling, but we will do it next time. If you have a chance to snorkel, tell us about the underwater life at Melasti Beach. Just choose the calmer area for snorkeling – before the riff break.

Don't worry about the toilets to change clothes and shower, the toilets are well available there.

Relaxing

If you are too tired and don't want to do anything, you can relax, enjoy the air and sunset here. There are so many relaxing places that you can sit right on the beach.

Watching Kecak dance performance

Kecak dance is a traditional Balinese dance. This dance is performed in many popular places such as Uluwatu temple, Tanah Lot and now at Melasti beach. Will be a sweet memory enjoying the sunset while watching kecak dance with a view of melasti beach.

Fotograph

If you want to take casual pictures or professional shoots such as prewedding, making a movie and others, you go to the right place. From top to bottom, Melasti Beach has many interesting photo spots. Ranging from high split cliffs, statues, large ships, Balinese buildings, and blue water that are ready to color your photos. Catch your best moment at Melasti beach!

Melasti beach is highly accessible

Access to Melasti beach is very easy. You can access it using a motorcycle or car. No need to worry about the cliff road, because the Melasti beach cliff road is large and smooth. parking is well available, you will pay an entrance ticket of 8000 IDR and will park around the beach. Parking is very spacious.

The point interest of Melasti Beach

The main point of interest at Melasti beach is the white rock split cliff. When you go down the cliff road, you will see the beauty of Melasti beach from above to bottom. If you have visited Pandawa beach, then this white rock cliff will be familiar to you, because it is similar to Pandawa beach. Every side of Melasti beach is perfect to shoot your best memory.

Best time to go to Melasti Beach

I would say the best time to go to Melasti beach is in the morning. Mornings at Melasti beach give you a vibe of calm and fresh air, and of course less people, there are only a few people doing cleaning. We were there around 7 in the morning and the air was really clean and fresh. Usually the beach will start to get a lot of visitors around 10am to afternoon. But if you don't mind those things, it is always good to come to Melasti beach, at anytime.
