Green Bowl Beach nature and things to do

Green Bowl is a hidden beach located in Ungasan, Bali. Green Bowl Beach is not as wide as other beaches in Bali, but the nature of it is wonderful. A small beach with soft white sand and big coral rocks.

To get to the bottom of the 🌊 beach, you need to go through approximately 300 steps, probably that's why Green Bowl beach is still less crowded, because it requires extra efforts to go down. Even though going down 300 steps, the view is worth it and the place is wonderful

Apart from that there are several temples, namely Batu Pageh Temple, which is located on the top of the beach. And there is a small temple, which is located under the big cliff at the beach.

There are a lot of things you can do at Green Bowl Beach. You can easily swim in the crystal clear water because the waves are calm, you can also snorkel and surf here. It might be a little difficult to surf at this beach because you have to go down 300 steps carrying a surfboard. But it doesn't seem like a big problem, because there are surfers on the beach, even not as many as on other beaches. Ah, and you can also fish here. The second time Niki and I came, we saw someone fishing and they got a lot of catches!

Enjoying the sunset? Also a good idea. I’m not sure, if Green Bowl beach is a sunset point, but the sunset here is very beautiful. Just watch the video we made!

Always check tide times 🌊

Checking the tide times before going to the beach? We do so as well.

The tides and ebbs have a significant influence on beach activities, especially at places like Green Bowl in Bali. Understanding the tide schedule is very important when planning beach activities, especially for activities like surfing, snorkeling, or just enjoying the beach sunset.

At high tide, the remaining sand area maybe very small, making it less safe to lie or sit on the beach sand. At high tide, big waves come and better conditions for surfing are possible. However, safety remains the top priority, so it is important to follow the advice of a local or expert who understands tides conditions in the area before deciding to undertake any activities at Green Bowl beach or any other beach in Bali

Green Bowl Beach swimming friendliness

Crystal clear blue water beach, soft white sand that is simply irresistible.
